Psychomotor childtherapy is for children between 3 and 16 years old who are at risk to get stuck or who already are stuck in their development and showing this in their behaviour.
It is a non-verbal form of childtherapy where playing, sports, arts&crafts, music and dance form the base to work from. This form of childtherapy is a very good way to get in contact with the child from their perspective and help them to grow further.
We do this from the level of the child, where the child is right now, and by following every step.
We look at the strenghts of the child and make use of it during therapy to develop the parts who need a bit more attention.
Parents, teachers and other people involved in the life of the child are playing a part and will get help to be able to support the child.
At Little suitcase we give the therapy in Dutch or English.
If your children doesn't speak any of those two languages we can look at the possibility to still be able to start childtherapy. As we work with a non-verbal form of childtherapy there are different options to work from without the need of speaking the language very well.
The childtherapy is given at a very nice location in Amsterdam West, close to Vondelpark.
Little suitcase has a suitcase full of toys and other material to give Childtherapy.
Further Little suitcase sometimes makes use of very special locations to work with a child. You can think of a trampolinepark, playground or into the nature.
This makes Little suitcase Childtherapy extra special and fun!
Sometimes it's possible to give the therapy at school.
